Didem Turk Grigoletto is a postdoctoral researcher in the Land-Use Systems group at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL). Her works focus on the digitalization of urban planning, from a data and algorithms perspective, within the DISCLOSE (Digital Transformation of Urban Planning) project. Her background is urban planning and design, and she completed her PhD in the Architecture, History and Project program at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy. Her doctoral research used artificial intelligence models to extract and analyze urban morphological patterns from geospatial data. Her research interests include the digitalization of urban planning, geospatial data analysis, urban morphology, and the use of AI in earth observation and remote sensing.
